Comic books contributed a negative stigma for them there. Viewed as a teenager, cheap or inferior form of literature and art, comic books have a tough fight from the first day. But with the success of the comic books that are represented in Hollywood, maybe, just maybe they will change perceptions.
The reality is that the comic books in some classes will always represent what is wrong with the world, like other forms of entertainment. Video games and television have been put under a similar attack by a group of parents, religious and intellectual elite, who simply did not get their job and blamed them for the moral slide down of society. Music during the last decades has experienced the same negative reaction.
The beautiful thing about comic books, however, is what distinguishes them from all forms of art. And it is a marriage between art and writing come together in a symphonic tale unrivaled. Like the film and television industry has a unique story link, and sometimes graphic arts, direct action, or motion pictures, comic books are unique in the way a story.
Take the art of comics. Any artist worth his salt can make a portrait or landscape quiet landscape, or whatever. Similarly, an abstract painter with a merit can describe the work is still a strange fascination and sensitivity. But there is a special kind of artistic skills and expertise to use the same technique to change the words a writer tell the sequential illustrates the constant movement and the various emotions panel after panel, per page. This is a task for the writer to structure their words in such a way that allows the art to "talk" descriptive and dialogue in the right places to fill while maintaining an interesting story and flow. And this is what comics are made.
Look at artists such as David Mack comic book that encourages the media to another level with his use of paint and materials to create beauty while maintaining the form of comic abstraction. Or are many novelists, such as Orson Scott Card and Stephen King, for example, who has switched to reconcile their comic talents and skills with a form of mixed media art. However, comic books continue to be disrespectful, or are considered low compared to other media.
perception that can never be changed, but whether the comic books continues to grow and grow, and eventually disappear, there will never be another art form enough to do what comics can do.
