Insofar as movies go, Superman Returns was not one of the best. It is not only received so-so reviews from critics, but the highlight at the box office - barely able to back the budget, especially after Warner Bros. a mountain of marketing box office gross could not hope to get noticed. But while the film may not lead half Superman franchise, it's something rather interesting: a son.
This story ran in the pages Superman: Last Son storyline, written by fan-favorite comic writer Geoff Johns, along with special guest - Richard Donner, director of the first Superman movie. In the storyline, Superman finds he is no longer the last son of Krypton, but unlike the film Superman Returns - where Superman finally revealed to have children because of an appointment with Lois Lane met in Superman 2 - this child was revealed to be a child of Superman 2 General Zod and Ursula criminals.
Chris Kent dubbed by my good friend Superman in Gotham, the boy was briefly raised by Clark and Lois in a relatively normal life, but as you might expect from a superhero arc, the serenity that lasts long. Shortly afterwards he was the biological father Zod comes back with other prisoners Phantom Zone and attacked the Earth. Although Superman rejected invasion - with the help of his unlikely enemy Lex Luthor Superman Revenge Squad and his team - Chris himself back into the Phantom Zone to pay to avoid further reprisals from his father.
So, the adopted son of Superman has finally returned home - but it is unknown how long her child will be lost. Superman is not a hero just by parenting problem - Batman recently discovered he has a biological child by the name of Damian Wayne with Talia al Ghul, the daughter of Al Ghul himself Batman Begins villain Ra's. Although the wrong direction and actually false time (the result of upbringing), Damian really wanted his father as the Dark Knight, and a comic to help - Batman # 666, in the distant, distant future - stated that he would eventually become the Dark Knight himself. Will Chris Kent ever take over his adopted father's mantle? We have to stay glued to supes to find out.
